Hilary Statum

Hilary Statum is an ESL Teacher in Middle Tennessee with over 15 years of classroom experience. She is the author of 2 published books as well as the face behind "Pencils to Pigtails", a popular blog for parents and teachers. Hilary holds a Master's Degree in Instructional Leadership and coordinates her school district's free parent English class. She enjoys being a Featured Presenter at regional and national educational events around the country as well as working with individual school systems as an educational consultant. She believes that every standard can be taught in an engaging way and that teachers truly have the best job in the world!
